Meet Now in Skype for Business

Open and log into Skype for Business with your WSU Network ID and Password. Then click on the dropdown arrow on the right side of the skype menu.

Select Meet Now from the dropdown menu.

 

Click OK to use the Skype for Business (full audio and video experience).


This allows participants to share video and other presentation content, such as PowerPoint files and Word documents.

 

After about 20 seconds, the Conversation window will open.

*Creating a meeting like this is a great way to record a meeting with no external participants. Anyone who is unable to make the meeting can watch the recording later.

Add participants to the conversation one of two ways:

  1. Add participants by clicking in the top right corner.

Type a contact name or phone number into the text box.

Or select a contact from the list and click OK when you are finished.

2. Send participants the Meeting Entry Information so they can join the conversation at their convenience.


Click the ellipses in the lower right corner of the Conversation window, and select Meeting Entry Info from the menu.

Click Copy All Info, and then Close the window.

Email the copied meeting information to the participants you would like to invite.
