Recording Skype for Business Meetings

Once your meeting is active, click the ellipses in the lower right corner. Then select Start Recording from the menu.

A yellow bar with the alert “Recording has started.” will display at the bottom of the conversation window once the recording has started.

Stop Recording the Meeting

Click the ellipses in the lower right corner. Then select Stop Recording from the menu.

Alternatively, click the Square Stop icon.

A yellow bar with the alert “All recordings have stopped.” will display at the bottom of the screen once the recording has finished.

How to Retrieve Recordings

After the recording has ended, click the ellipses in the lower right corner. Then select Manage Recordings from the menu.

It will take 15 or more minutes to process the recording. You can view the progress in the window that just opened. When it says Completed, instead of Processing, the recording is ready. Click Browse… to open the file.

By default, Skype for Business recordings are stored at C:\Users\your.username\Videos\Lync Recordings
